in pursuit of beauty

Me & My younger brother

A blast from the past (In the left of the picture, my younger brother). It brings smile on my face…

Thank you for taking interest in my blog. Yes, it’s a photo-blog.  Through this blog, I’m going to portray Nature Photography as much as I can as it gives me an opportunity to connect with nature. Photography is just a hobby. And I own and use Nikon coolpix P510 (Advanced Point & Shoot)  camera to fulfill my passion for photography.

Fundamentally, I am an Indian. However; most North, South and West Indians think I am either Japanese, Chinese or Nepali. For your kind information, I belong to a far-flung, sub-tropical land called Arunachal Pradesh, which is bordered by the kingdom of Bhutan to the west, the Tibet Autonomous Region of China to the north, Myanmar (Burma) and the Indian state of Nagaland to the south and southeast, and the Indian state of Assam to the south and southwest. Still Indian. Have you ever heard of Ziro? Ziro is my hometown.

I like hiking and trekking. I do it whenever time permits. This is the moment when my humble camera starts flexing muscles.

By profession, I am a school teacher. I love being an educator. I love being with my school students.

I also volunteer my leisure time for local NGOs, which is working in the field of conservation and sustainable development.

Music, Books (fiction/ non-fiction) and good Films are also a part of my life.
